Oh my goodness another year of great times at the San Diego Comic-Con. However the times were almost too great, this by far was one of the best comic-cons EVER! It was my first time ever having a TABLE!! I would like to thank the lovely and talented and awesome Meredith Gran of Octopus Pie.com So much of the good times had by all are owed to her!! Saddly the good times are too large and I don't think all the the photos will fit in one post! So I am going to break them down into a little smaller series. I am leaving from L.A. tomorrow evening and heading back home to Minneapolis. I will have more time for updates so stay tuned.
It organizes them by the story and then you just select the page you want to look at and kerblam-o that page is displayed. I think it is pretty fast and cool. I have only tested it in Safari and Firefox, so let me know if you have any problems with it. I just realized that this does not have buttons for "Next Page" and "Previous Page" these are pretty nice buttons to have so I will add those.
(If any comic people are interested in using this let me know, it makes adding pages super easy. You just drop the page into the correct folder and blam everything is updated. It also automatically reads all the pages you have and all the directories you have for comics (Nice and organ-na-zized).
Hey everyone, I just left San Diego and am now in Los Angeles taking a little vacation and visiting my cousin Ben. San Diego was so amazing and I met like a bajillion awesome people and had an amazing time sketching and making drawings for people. Stay tuned for my comic-con photo report. I am totally pooped right now and about to crash. Pictures, comics all sorts of good things coming up, check back.
I am currently in Colchester staying with professor Nic McPhee and his wonderful wife Sue and son Tom. Nic and I have just returned from Evo* 2008 in Naples and we brought back some very good news.

Was nominated for a best paper award. The results were announced yesterday. WE WON!!! HUZZAH!!! I was incredibly nervous and excited and everything was very surreal for a short time. My arms and legs were full of little tremors after it was announced and I had to manage to walk up in front of a room full of people and shake hands and accept certificates and chocolates. Pictures of the entire event will be soon to follow as well as a short comic that attempts to briefly explain the content in our paper.
I had such a great time and met loads of wonderful people and new friends. I hope I have another opportunity to go within the next coming years.
Anyways I just wanted to make a quick post about it before I set off to explore Colchester.
